Unsubscribing from Whimsical emails
As a Whimsical user, you'll receive a monthly newsletter, and notifications for comments, discussions and card updates. This article explains how to control exactly which emails you receive.
Marketing Emails
To unsubscribe from the newsletter, you can click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email or, go to Account Settings, which you can find under your avatar on the top right:
Click Unsubscribe All or choose which individual emails you no longer want to receive:
Using the other toggles in the Email Settings, you can also disable our onboarding emails and any survey or feedback requests we might send out.

Workspace Activity Notifications
If you invite people to join your workspace using Workspace Discovery, or an invitation, you will receive an email whenever someone accepts your invitation. You can also switch those off in the email settings.
Note
It's not possible to unsubscribe from the notification that you've been invited to a Whimsical workspace.
Comment and Discussion Notifications
Notifications are set on a per file basis.
To subscribe or unsubscribe from comment notifications on a file, click on the comment icon in the top right corner → "Comment Settings" → check or uncheck "Receive Notifications for All Comments":

It's not currently possible to unsubscribe:
- From all comments and discussions at once.
- From the notification that you've been mentioned in a comment.
Card Notifications
If you're getting email notifications about cards, open or select the card in question and then click the eye icon to "Unwatch Card" and unsubscribe from card notifications:

It's not currently possible to unsubscribe:
- From all cards at once.
- From notifications that you've been assigned as the owner of a card.
Change the Email Address Used for Notifications
For each workspace you're part of you can choose a different email address to receive notifications about cards, comments and discussions updates. Newsletters will always be sent to your default email address. You can learn more about how to add different email addresses for different workspaces in this article.
